Detangling Narrative
As writers come and go from a game project, things tend to get tangled. I’ve made a name for myself in “detangling” those narratives, emphasizing the best contributions of the previous writers, and identifying what to rewrite to maintain a consistent world and tone.
Other projects might not need a full-time Narrative Designer. I started this consultancy service to provide scope-conscious professional consulting to studios that find themselves in such situations.

Service Standards
A quality service is a responsive service.
- Regular check-ins with client
- Day one client access to my timesheet and task breakdown
- Deliverables are provided in Google Suite format
- Message response within 2 business days
- Deliverable delays will be communicated 48 hours in advance
Consulting Pricing
Prices are in Canadian Dollars. Prices are based on the size of the client project and payment is split across multiple stages. An invoice will be delivered for each stage of payment, detailing the cost and the associated deliverable, and I will provide confirmation when payment is received.
Smaller Titles
$250 – $300 CAD (10 – 12 hrs) of work. Payment is split across multiple stages:
- $50 flat fee for the Proposal
- $50 deposit for Legal
- $75 – $100 for Gen. Findings
- $75 – $100 for Full Report
Larger Titles
$500 – $600 CAD (20 – 24 hrs) of work. Payment is split across multiple stages:
- $50 flat fee for the Proposal
- $100 deposit for Legal
- $175 – $225 for Gen. Findings
- $175 – $225 for Full Report
Fine Print
I provide recommendations for better narratives. What recommendations a client implements is up to the client’s discretion.
- I am not available to consult for revenue share nor do I offer refunds
- I reserve the right to refuse any project, for any reason, at no charge to the client
- While I hope your game succeeds, I bear no legal responsibility for the success/failure of your project
- In the event of a cancellation, clients may be charged for logged, outstanding work, and unpaid fees
- If I cannot continue work with a client, I will deliver an explanation and all working deliverables within 3 business days
