Telling stories through non-linear narrative & gameplay
As a narrative designer, I see games as the height of storytelling, a means to tell stories through emotional player experiences. Gameplay driven by a non-linear narrative and reinforced through game mechanics fuels these experiences.
I value narrative subversion and experimental gameplay as the strongest methods of imparting these impactful experiences. In particular, I thrive at communicating complex narratives in a clear and organized fashion.
Flexible and organized
I specialize in writing RPGs and cozy games but I have also written for platformers and the odd FPS.
I love JRPGs, especially those taking place in the real world (such as Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, and G.O.D.) and RPGs exploring time travel (such as Chrono Trigger and Sea of Stars).
